I'm launching my first paid web app next week, and not sure how to price it! The app allows creators to paste in a YouTube playlist URL and it auto converts it into a paid course. How much would you charge for this? How much would you pay for this?

idea is cool but not idea of this exact

what do you mean "not idea of this exact"?

like how much user will pay this idea i dont have that much

I guess the market is 2 fold one is creators that have time, but no money one is creators who have money, but no time Simple, quick and easy to get going. People pay for that.

Do some market research, how important do you think it will be for users check out other similar tools and take a cue from their pricing options.

That's the thing, I couldn't find similar tools, but i was going with around $30/mo, but feel i need to go with something either around $10 or one time fee of around $99, just to get traction...

you can also consider allowing users to purchase credits and charge the users via credits, that way they only pay for what they use. It won't be nice to pay $30 for a month and only use it once.

The idea is that they'd set up a course, share the link and keep earning, so they wouldn't just use it once, but yeh, i get your point. May go with a one time fee of like $99, as its a new app, test different pricing options as i go... its all a WIP

Fair enough, you can update pricing as you go, but ensure users are aware to avoid abrupt changes.

I'd only enforce changes to new users, not existing ones.
